WELCOME!

My name is Eric, and I am user researcher and social psychologist.

I received my Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington in August of 2017. In my graduate studies, I studied social and personality psychology, particularly focusing on friendship formation and initial interactions between strangers.

I have over 10+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodology, project management, and translating key insights into product impact and growth. I am currently full-time employed as a Research Lead at Airbnb, conducting research for high-priority initiatives to keep users safe.
